In April 2005, Angus Munro and Simon Downing will set off to ski the width of Greenland, the world's second-largest icecap and largest island. They will tow all their food and equipment for the month-long sled journey, and use large kites to speed their progress.

Simon and Angus aim to be the youngest Australians to traverse any of the world's major icecaps, and the first to publicise a charity in doing so.

We are extremely pleased to announce that the expedition aims to promote KessiaCare Foundation.

Keep posted about this incredible adventure on the Aussie Icefinders website.
